Objective of the Society
The purpose of the society shall be to advance the cause of Agriculture Economics. The Society shall seek to achieve this purpose through.
- To publish yearly journal named as “Maharashtra Journal of Agricultural Economics”.
- To promote and encourage fundamental studies and research in the filed of Agricultural Economics.
- To organise seminars, symposia etc. and get together of the members of the society.
- Other activites approved by the society or by its executive council in abiding with the general rule like organising special lecturers on selected current topics.
MSAE
The Maharashtra Society of Agricultural Economics was established in the year 1987 among 4 State Agricultural universities of Maharashtra by Late Prof. H.B. Ulemale, Hon’ble Ex. Vice Chancellor, PDKV, Akola with 35 life founder members. At present, there are about 370 life members of the society, covering different Agricultural Universities and institutes across the world.
